English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Samad, from his father, from Husayn al-Mu'allim, from Ibn Burayda — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when he settled into his sleeping place: 'All praise is due to Allah Who has sufficed me, sheltered me, fed me, given me drink, bestowed favor upon me and been gracious, and given me abundantly. All praise is due to Allah in every state. O Allah, Lord of all things, King of all things, God of all things — to You belong all things. I seek refuge in You from the Fire.'
