Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَر
َ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فَجَعَلَ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ الْمُخْتَارِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِنْ كَانَ كَمَا تَقُولُ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ السَّاعَةِ ثَلَاثِينَ كَذَّابًا

English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Samad, from Hammad, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Yusuf ibn Mihran — that a man from the people of Kufa was with him narrating about al-Mukhtar. Ibn 'Umar said: 'If it is as you say, then I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Before the Hour there will be thirty liars."'
