English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Bakr al-Hanafi, from al-Dahhak ibn 'Uthman, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two transactions in one [bay'atayn fi bay'a], selling combined with lending [bay' wa salaf], profiting from what one has not yet secured [ribh ma lam yudman], and selling what one does not possess.'
