English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hasan, from Ibn Lahi'a, from Huyayy ibn 'Abdullah, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli — that he said: 'A man died in Medina and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed over him. He said: "Would that he had died somewhere other than [in Medina] where he was born." A man from his Companions said: "Why, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Indeed a man who dies outside his homeland — from [the place of] his migration to [the place of] his death — is measured for him in Paradise."'
