English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Isma'il ibn Ibrahim, from Ayyub, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'A loan combined with a sale is not lawful, nor are two conditions in a single sale, nor is profit from what is not yet secured [by the buyer], nor selling what you do not possess.'
