English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Isma'il, from Layth, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not pluck out grey hair — for it is the light of a Muslim. No Muslim grows a single grey hair in Islam except that a good deed is recorded for him by it and a rank raised for him by it — or a sin erased from him by it.'
