حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ قِيمَةَ الْمِجَنِّ كَانَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَشَرَةَ دَرَاهِمَ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ibn Idris, from Ibn Ishaq, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the value of a shield [al-mijan] in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was ten dirhams.
