English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid, from Muhammad ibn Rashid, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'The testimony of a treacherous man or a treacherous woman is not accepted.' And he rejected the testimony of the dependent [qa'ni' — one who receives support from a household] and the servant and one attached to a household. But he accepted such testimony from those who were not in such dependency.
