English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Ishaq ibn 'Isa, from Malik, from a trustworthy source, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade 'urbun [earnest money / down-payment] transactions.
