حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُم
ْ بِأَحَبِّكُمْ إِلَيَّ وَأَقْرَبِكُمْ مِنِّي مَجْلِسًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَسَكَتَ الْقَوْمُ فَأَعَادَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا قَالَ الْقَوْمُ نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَحْسَنُكُمْ خُلُقًا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yunus and Abu Salama al-Khuza'i, from Layth, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'Shall I not tell you about the one most beloved to me and closest to me in seating on the Day of Resurrection?' The people were silent. He repeated it two or three times. They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'The one with the best character among you.'
