نْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَجُوزُ طَلَاقٌ وَلَا بَيْعٌ وَلَا عِتْقٌ وَلَا وَفَاءُ نَذْرٍ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad, from Matar al-Warraq, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'No divorce is valid, no sale is valid, no emancipation is valid, and no fulfillment of a vow is valid in what one does not own.'
