English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Waki' and Ishaq al-Azraq, from Sufyan, from 'Alqama ibn Marthad, from al-Qasim ibn Mukhaymira — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'There is no Muslim afflicted with an illness in his body except that Allah (عز وجل) commands the guardian angels who watch over him: "Write for My servant the like of what he used to do when he was healthy — for as long as he is detained in My bond."' Ishaq said in his version: 'Write for My servant every day and night.' [Also narrated via Waki' from Mis'ar, from Abu Hasin, from al-Qasim ibn Mukhaymira, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, from the Prophet ﷺ — the same.]
