English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh, from al-Awza'i, from Hassan ibn 'Atiyya, from Abu Kabsha al-Saluli — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There are forty acts of goodness — the highest of them is lending a she-goat [for its milk — manihat al-'anz]. No servant performs any one of these good deeds hoping for its reward and believing in the truth of its promise — except that Allah will admit him to Paradise through it.'
