حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّ
بِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْبَرِ الذَّنْبِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالُوا وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالَ يَسُبُّ أَبَا الرَّجُلِ فَيَسُبُّ أَبَاهُ وَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ فَيَسُبُّ أُمَّهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Hajjaj, from Shu'ba, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'Among the greatest of sins is for a man to revile his own parents.' They said: 'How does a man revile his own parents?' He said: 'He reviles another man's father, so that man reviles his father; and he reviles another man's mother, so that man reviles his mother.'
