English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Affan, from Hammad ibn Salama, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from his father — that a man said: 'O Allah, forgive me and Muhammad alone [wahdan].' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'You have restricted [Allah's mercy] from many people [i.e., do not limit your supplication so].'
