حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أَسْكَرَ كَثِيرُهُ فَقَلِيلُهُ حَرَامٌ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Kamil, from 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Umar al-'Umari, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'Whatever intoxicates in large amounts — a small amount of it is [also] forbidden [haram].'
