حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ شُعَيْب

ِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ مَا رُئِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا قَطُّ وَلَا يَطَأُ عَقِبَيْهِ رَجُلَانِ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu Kamil, from Hammad, from Thabit, from Shu'ayb ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, from his father — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was never seen eating while reclining, and two men never walked behind him treading on his two heels.'
