English Translation

Nasr ibn Bab narrated to us, from Isma'il, from Qays, from Jarir ibn Abdullah al-Bajali (رضي الله عنه) who said: We used to consider gathering at the house of the deceased and making food after his burial to be from al-Niyahah (wailing, which is prohibited).
