Hadith #429
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَن
ِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ كَانَ أَكْثَرُ دُعَاءِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Rawh, from Muhammad ibn Abi Humayd, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — who said: 'The most frequent supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of 'Arafa was: "La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, biyadihi al-khayr, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir [There is no god but Allah alone with no partner — to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs praise, in His hand is goodness, and He has power over all things]."'
