حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ
عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى غَيْرَهَا خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَهِيَ كَفَّارَتُهَا

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Samad, from Khalifa ibn Khayyat al-Laythi, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'Whoever swears an oath and then sees that something else is better than it — [breaking the oath to do the better thing] serves as its expiation.'
