حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي السَّهْمِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَ
نَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ إِلَّا كَفَّرَتْ عَنْهُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abdullah ibn Bakr al-Sahmi, from Hatim, from Abu Balj, from 'Amr ibn Maymun, who informed him that he heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr narrating from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: 'There is no man on earth who says: La ilaha illa Allah, wa Allahu akbar, wa subhanallah, wa al-hamdu lillah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah — except that his sins will be expiated even if they were like the foam of the sea.'
