حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ لَا يُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Attab, from 'Abdullah [ibn al-Mubarak], from Usama ibn Zayd, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not shake hands with women during the pledge of allegiance [bay'a].
