English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Quddus ibn Bakr ibn Khunays Abu al-Jahm, from al-Hajjaj, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Every prayer in which [the Fatiha] is not recited is deficient [khidaj] — then deficient — then deficient.'
