حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الْمُسْلِمُ قَالُو
ا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ قَالَ تَدْرُونَ مَنْ الْمُؤْمِنُ قَالُوا اللَّهُ يَعْنِي وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ السُّوءَ فَاجْتَنَبَهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Zayd ibn al-Hubab, from Musa ibn 'Ali, who heard his father say: 'I heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As say: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Do you know who the Muslim is?" They said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "He from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe." He said: "Do you know who the believer is?" They said: "Allah — meaning — and His Messenger know best." He said: "He whom the believers trust with their lives and their wealth. And the muhajir is one who abandons evil and keeps away from it."'
