حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ الصَّدَفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللّ
َهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ الصَّلَاةَ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ مَنْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهَا كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا وَبُرْهَانًا وَنَجَاةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ لَمْ يُحَافِظْ عَلَيْهَا لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ نُورٌ وَلَا بُرْهَانٌ وَلَا نَجَاةٌ وَكَانَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ قَارُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَأُبَيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, from Sa'id, from Ka'b ibn 'Alqama, from 'Isa ibn Hilal al-Sadafi — from the Prophet ﷺ: he mentioned prayer one day and said: 'Whoever guards it [is diligent in it], it will be for him a light [nur], a proof [burhan], and a salvation [najan] on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever does not guard it, it will not be a light, a proof, or a salvation for him — and on the Day of Resurrection he will be [raised] with Qarun, Fir'awn, Haman, and Ubayy ibn Khalaf.'
