حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْ
نُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ ابْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ الْأَكْبَرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ الْمُسَدِّدَ لَيُدْرِكُ دَرَجَةَ الصَّوَّامِ الْقَوَّامِ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِكَرَمِ ضَرِيبَتِهِ وَحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Ali ibn Ishaq, from 'Abdullah [ibn al-Mubarak], from Ibn Lahi'a, from al-Harith ibn Yazid, from Ibn Hujayra al-Akbar — that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'The righteous, steadfast Muslim [al-musaddid] will attain the rank of the one who fasts abundantly and stands long in prayer reciting the verses of Allah (عز وجل) — by virtue of his noble character and his good conduct.'
