English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, from Musa ibn 'Ali, who heard his father narrate — from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: he said in mentioning the people of the Fire: 'Every ja'zhari [harsh and brutish person], jawwaz [loud and boisterous], mutakabbir [arrogant], hoarder of wealth [jamm al-mal], withholder of good [manna'] — these are the people of the Fire. And the people of Paradise are every gentle, tender-hearted, and weak person who is considered weak [by others].'
