حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَب

ِي حَرْبٍ الدَّيْلِيِّ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَظَلَّتْ الْخَضْرَاءُ وَلَا أَقَلَّتْ الْغَبْرَاءُ مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ لَهْجَةً مِنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ

English Translation

It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya ibn Hammad, from Abu 'Awana, from al-A'mash, from 'Uthman ibn Qays, from Abu Harb al-Dayli — who heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The sky has not shaded over, nor the earth carried, a man more truthful in speech than Abu Dharr.'
