Hadith #79

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هُبَيْرَ
ةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُرَيْحٍ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قَيْسٍ مَوْلَى عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ سَبْعِينَ صَلَاةً فَلْيُقِلَّ عَبْدٌ مِنْ ذَلِكَ أَوْ لِيُكْثِرْ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yahya, from Ibn Lahi'a, from 'Abdullah ibn Hubayra, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Murayh al-Khawlani, from Abu Qays (freed slave of 'Amr ibn al-'As) — that he heard 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr say: 'Whoever sends one blessing upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — Allah will send ten blessings upon him, and ten sins will be erased from him, and he will be raised ten ranks.'
