English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Hasan, from Ibn Lahi'a, from Huyayy ibn 'Abdullah, from Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli — that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ with his son and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, my son reads the Mushaf by night [while prostrating in devotion].' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'That is a man whose share from the Quran is the [effort of his] body — read it while sitting, for it is easier on you, and its reward is half of standing prayer.'
