English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via al-Walid, from al-Awza'i, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama — that Abu Hurayra said: 'The iqama was called and the people formed their rows. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and stood at his place, then gestured to them with his hand [indicating]: "Stay where you are." He then went out and returned having bathed, with his head still dripping — and led them in prayer.'
