حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَع

ِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When the heat is severe, delay [ibrid] the [Dhuhr] prayer until it cools — for the intensity of heat is from the exhalation [fayh] of Jahannam.'
