English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id — that a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, may one of us pray in a single garment?' He said: 'Does every one of you have two garments?' Abu Hurayra [added]: 'Do you see that Abu Hurayra prays in a single garment while his [other] clothes hang on the clothes stand [al-mishajab]?'
