English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salama — traced to the Prophet ﷺ: 'When one of you wakes from sleep, let him not dip his hand into his vessel until he has washed it three times — for he does not know where his hand spent the night.'
