حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْيَمِينُ الْكَاذِبَةُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلْكَسْبِ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from al-'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from his father — traced to the Prophet ﷺ: 'A false oath promotes the sale of goods but destroys [mamhaqah] the profit [al-kasb].'
