English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj — that the Prophet ﷺ said that Allah (عز وجل) says: 'If My servant intends a good deed, record it for him. If he does it, record it as ten times its like. If he intends an evil deed, do not record it. If he does it, record it as one. And if he abandons it, record it as a good deed.'
