English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj — [I heard Sufyan transmit it] from the Prophet ﷺ: 'When a servant [khadim] prepares food for one of you, let him seat him and eat with him. If he does not do that, let him take a morsel [luqma] and roll it in [the dish] [li-yurawi-ghaha fihi] and offer it to him.'
