Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيَمِينِ وَخَلْعِ الْيُسْرَى وَإِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدٍ لِيُحْفِهِمَا جَمِيعًا أَوْ لِيُنْعِلْهُمَا جَمِيعًا
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'When one of you puts on his sandals, let him begin with the right [foot]; and [when removing them, begin with] the left. When the strap [shi's] of one of your sandals breaks, let him not walk in one sandal — let him either go barefoot on both feet, or put on both sandals [together].'
