حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ مَوْلَى ابْنِ أَبِي رُهْمٍ سَمِعَهُ مِنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْبَلَ أَبُو هُرَيْ
رَةَ امْرَأَةً مُتَطَيِّبَةً فَقَالَ أَيْنَ تُرِيدِينَ يَا أَمَةَ الْجَبَّارِ فَقَالَتْ الْمَسْجِدَ فَقَالَ وَلَهُ تَطَيَّبْتِ قَالَتْ نَعَمْ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّهُ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ خَرَجَتْ مِنْ بَيْتِهَا مُتَطَيِّبَةً تُرِيدُ الْمَسْجِدَ لَمْ يَقْبَلْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهَا صَلَاةً حَتَّى تَرْجِعَ فَتَغْتَسِلَ مِنْهُ غُسْلَهَا مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from 'Asim ibn 'Ubaydillah ibn 'Asim ibn 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, from the freed slave of Ibn Abi Ruhm who heard it from Abu Hurayra — traced to the Prophet ﷺ: Abu Hurayra met a woman wearing perfume and said: 'Where are you going, O slave of the All-Compeller [ya amat al-Jabbar]?' She said: 'To the mosque.' He said: 'And it is for it that you have perfumed yourself?' She said: 'Yes.' Abu Hurayra said: '[the Prophet ﷺ] said: "Any woman who leaves her home wearing perfume with the intention of going to the mosque — Allah (عز وجل) will not accept her prayer until she returns and performs ghusl from it the way she performs ghusl from major ritual impurity [janaba]."'
