حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْعَجْلَانِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا وَقَعَ الذُّبَابُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْمِسْهُ فَإِنَّ فِي أَحَدِ جَنَاحَيْهِ شِفَاءً وَالْآخَرِ دَاءً
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Ibn 'Ajlan, from Sa'id — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'When a fly falls into one of your vessels, submerge it [fully] — for in one of its two wings there is a cure [shifa'] and in the other there is a disease [da'].'
