English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from Hamza ibn al-Mughira, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Allah, do not make my grave an idol [wathan] to be worshipped. Allah has cursed a people who took the graves of their prophets as places of worship [masajid].'
