Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنِ ابْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ يَعْنِي وَهْبًا عَنْ أَخِيهِ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ أَكْثَرَ حَدِيثًا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي إِلَّا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْتُبُ وَكُنْتُ لَا أَكْتُبُ
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Sufyan, from 'Amr, from Ibn Munabbih — meaning Wahb — from his brother [Hammam ibn Munabbih] who said: I heard Abu Hurayra say: 'There is no one who narrates more hadiths from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than I — except 'Abdillah ibn 'Amr, for he used to write them down, while I did not write.'
