English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sufyan, from Salm ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Zur'a — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike al-shikal [the characteristic of having one white foot on one side and the opposite back foot white — asymmetric white markings] in horses.
