English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn 'Ajlan, from al-Qa'qa' ibn Hakim, from Abu Salih — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'I am to you like a father — I teach you. So when one of you goes to the place of relieving oneself [al-khala'], do not face the qibla and do not turn your back to it. Do not clean yourself with your right hand.' And he used to command [the use of] three stones, and he forbade [the use of] dung [al-rawth] and [dry] bones [al-rimma].
