Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ
عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ اللَّجْلَاجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَجْتَمِعُ غُبَارٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَدُخَانُ جَهَنَّمَ فِي مُنْخُرَيْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَا يَجْتَمِعُ شُحٌّ وَإِيمَانٌ فِي قَلْبِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid [ibn Harun], from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Safwan ibn Abi Yazid, from Husayn ibn al-Lajlaj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The dust [of battle] in the path of Allah and the smoke of Jahannam will never meet in the nostrils of a Muslim man. And avarice [shuhh] and faith will never meet in the heart of a Muslim man.'
