English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid [ibn Harun], from Muhammad [ibn Ishaq], from Musa ibn Yasar — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed Allah has angels who alternate — angels of the night and angels of the day — and they meet in the Fajr prayer and the 'Asr prayer. Then those who were among you ascend to Him, and He asks them — though He knows best — saying: "In what state did you leave My servants?" They say: "We left them praying, and we came to them [also] praying."'
