حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ع
َنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ تِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ اسْمًا مِائَةً غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ مَنْ أَحْصَاهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِنَّهُ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Yazid [ibn Harun], from Muhammad [ibn Ishaq], from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed Allah has ninety-nine names — one hundred minus one — whoever enumerates them [ahsaha — memorizes, preserves, and acts upon them] will enter Paradise. He is al-Witr [the One, the Singular], and He loves al-witr [odd numbers].'
