حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أ
َبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحِنْطَةُ بِالْحِنْطَةِ وَالشَّعِيرُ بِالشَّعِيرِ وَالتَّمْرُ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْمِلْحُ بِالْمِلْحِ كَيْلًا بِكَيْلٍ وَوَزْنًا بِوَزْنٍ فَمَنْ زَادَ أَوْ أَزَادَ فَقَدْ أَرْبَى إِلَّا مَا اخْتَلَفَ أَلْوَانُهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Muhammad ibn Fudayl, from his father, from Abu Hazim — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt — measure for measure and weight for weight. Whoever adds or causes another to add has engaged in riba — except when the types differ [different commodities may be exchanged without equal quantity].'
