English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Hurayra (رضي الله عنه) — via Abu 'Ubayda al-Haddad [described as reliable (thiqa), from Kufa], from Muhammad ibn 'Amr, from Abu Salama — that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Were it not that I fear burdening my community, I would have commanded them to perform wudu with every prayer — or [to use] siwak with every wudu — and I would have delayed 'Isha al-akhira until a third of the night.'
