English Translation

Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of your servants prepares food for you and has endured the heat and smoke, then let him sit with him to eat. If the food is scarce, then let him give him a morsel or two from it.'
